Learn more about the chiropractic care Dr. Welch provides.
I am amazed with the human body and how well it works when things are properly aligned and moving. Throughout my career as a chiropractor in Des Moines, I have come to realize the body is a great machine, and to think of myself as a mechanic—a biomechanic. I tune up these great machines, our bodies. If we keep the machine well-maintained and restore the motion to our joints, our body works better, lasts longer, and life is a lot more enjoyable.
I am honored to assist people and help them appreciate how their body works, and share some of the things I have learned from practicing chiropractic care for more than 30 years. Each of us has had some traumas, whether micro traumatic or macro traumatic, in our past. These traumatic incidents alter the body mechanics, which must be addressed and corrected. Otherwise poor body mechanics from these traumas cause improper movement of our musculoskeletal system, which accelerates the wear and tear of the body, resulting in arthritic and degenerative changes and pain.
When the body is properly aligned through chiropractic therapy, it will do amazing things. I realize being able to care for people and help them live a better life is a privilege, and chiropractic care does it, NATURALLY.

You will receive ample time through every step of the chiropractic care process. From the initial visit, where we discuss why you came into our office, to addressing your concerns and all throughout the time we are working together to increase your mobility and restore your health.
Treating patients who work in office settings has taught me the importance of interrupting the cumulative effects of the sedentary posture. I provide chiropractic adjustments for patients with long standing problems and all types of injuries.
The goal is to work together to address all of your issues that you are currently having and preventing new ones from starting. In addition to chiropractic therapy, we will also discuss nutrition, stretches, exercise, and other ways you can stay healthy, NATURALLY.
Chiropractic care can help in numerous ways and let you live the life you want today, tomorrow, and in the years to come.
